Howdy, My name is Zach Sullivan and I am the owner and seamster at ROMP Bags located here in Duluth, MN. I love adventure and playing outside. I also have a passion for creating. Making things is in my blood, and there is nothing quite like turning raw materials into something that is usable.
I was raised in Chippewa Falls, WI where my family still lives. Growing up I was always encouraged to play outside and get dirty... nothing has changed. I graduated from UMD in 2017 with a degree in Environmental and Outdoor Education, and have been working in the field since. I have spent time leading canoe trips in the BWCA, teaching outdoor skills to youth in western Maine, and running programs at the Duluth Folk School. I now spend most of my time sewing or riding my bike.
Riding bikes has connected me to place, people and self. Whether commuting to the shop or bombing down single track trails, I always have a smile while in the saddle. The community of bicyclists, outdoor enthusiasts, and crafters in Duluth has influenced me to dive deep into this project - Rad Outdoor Multi Purpose Bags - with excitement and optimism.
